Tag Questions

• To form the “question tag” we use the auxiliary verbs be, have, do, will, would, can could, etc.

Examples:

• Maria is at the supermarket, isn’t she?
• You haven´t got a puppy, have you?
• Everybody wanted to go to the concert, didn’t they?
• You have already come back from your vacation, haven’t you?
• It was a great party, wasn’t it?
• He should read this book, shouldn’t he?
• They didn’t go to class last week, did they?
